Pandora – The Best Radio Station Ever
I’ve been a die hard fan of Pandora.com, and just about everyone I’ve told about it got hooked on it as well. If you’ve never heard of Pandora, here’d the quick rundown of what it is.
Pandora is an Internet radio station. What makes it awesome is that it tailors the radio channels specifically to you. You start out by entering a song that you like, I think I started out with “Dance With the Devil” by Breaking Benjamin. Pandora thinks for a few second, and then it begins by playing a song that is similar to your choice. They do this based upon numerous musical qualities that I really don’t understand. However they do it, they do a great job at selecting other songs that “sound like” your choice. As you listen to the songs, you rate them with either thumbs up or thumbs down, and with every rating, they fine tune your radio channel to be more and more compatibly with your musical tastes.
After a while, you have a perfect radio station. You can actually create multiple channels if you have a few different favorite music tastes, as I do.
